The Community Health Summit is a free public event for all ages. It is a day filled with fitness, workshops and more while bringing together healthcare professionals, community leaders, and advocates focused on reducing healthcare disparities.

The Delta Hotel by Marriott (UTMC Campus)

In collaboration with the University of Toledo, the Community Health Summit is a dynamic gathering of healthcare professionals, community leaders, and advocates, all united in their mission to reduce healthcare disparities. This event serves as a platform to foster open dialogue, share innovative solutions, and collaborate on strategies that improve access to quality care for underrepresented populations. Whether you're a seasoned expert, passionate advocate, or someone new to the topic eager to learn and contribute, the summit offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful change and advance the conversation around healthcare solutions. Local community organizations will be available for additional healthcare needs and resources.

Join us for an opportunity to collaborate with others who share the goal of creating equitable healthcare solutions for all.

*The student-led Hack-A-Thon will occur in the Collier Building during the same time as the Summit. They will present briefly at 9:00 AM to give an overview of the Hack-A-Thon. Then at 3:30 PM they will return to present their findings.

About the Healthcare Hack-a-thon: University of Toledo College of Medicine students and community leaders collaborate to design innovative public health strategies that tackle local health disparities, with a special focus on bridging the digital divide in healthcare through Health Information Technology (HIT).
